Week of Spirituality 2008
The Institute co-sponsored the annual ‘Week of Spirituality 2008’ at the UN organized by the Committee on Spirituality, Values and Global Concerns in October 2008. The Committee presented reports on the week’s experiences and recommendations to the UN bodies and other organizations globally.

Exhibition of Indian Handicrafts at the United Nations meeting
An exhibition of Indian Handicrafts was presented by the Institute in association with Values and Business Working Group Workshop with Helena Steiner Hornsyteyn on April 28 at the Church Center of the United Nations. This was organized by Sharon Hamilton, Additional UN Representative of the Institute in New York.

The Yoga of Life
The Institute organized a lecture session on ‘The Yoga of Life’ by Uttama Sloka Das of the Spiritual United Nations (SUN) at the United Nations Resource Center, GA-57 on July 15. The lecture was on providing “spiritual solutions to material problems”. It was coordinated and conducted by Sharon Hamilton.
